Two students, one from the wild west, other from the wilder east share views on Modi.A joint writeup by Mayank and Saumya.
Narendra Modi ... of late this has turned to be the hottest discussion in the Indian political arena.
Should NM be the PM?????
Why??? Why not?????
Ever since independence we have been trying different parties. what has been the outcome?Has India really achieved freedom? Freedom from corruption, scams, unemployment? Is this the state of India which our leaders dreamt of? Since 1947 to 2012 the ever increasing graph of corruption shows that it does not depend on which party you vote for, it just makes no difference.Everybody feels the whole system is corrupt right from its roots .A total scam and black money of over Rs. 98,00,000 crores would convert India into a superpower overnight with no unemployment or malnutrition. So is there a hope? This too is questionable.India needs a very bold leader who can put forward its needs and at the same time take certain brave decisions. So,its worth testing Modi, without the fear of losing on anything and with a hope to see the development of our great nation.

Meanwhile in Patna, while temperatures soar higher than Pilani, two great people talk-
Saumya Shikhar- Have you seen that Hindi movie, where the hero flips a coin in childhood and when it comes down he is all grown up?
Joseph Chaurasia- Shatrughan Sinha, eh?
SS- Doesn’t matter. What matters is what I’m saying. The country is the hero today, and Modi is the coin.Everybody(almost) thinks that everything is going to be good when Modi comes down.
JC- So you say the country is the hero, don’t you?
SS- You may say, the one with the coin always has the upper hand, he is the hero.Atleast till when the coin starts ruling over his mind.
JC- So does it matter if the coin says heads or tails??
SS- Ah! That coin I tell you, will fluctuate between the two.It has a past reputation of doing so.
JC-Hmm..Do you know what brand of toothpaste Modi uses?
SS- Do I know what?
JC- No actually I am trying to get all info on him.
SS- Oh, maybe that one with an orange tint I guess. But what if he doesn’t come to power? What if some other party from Bihar leads a random coalition at the centre, and some Chief Minister of Bihar miraculously becomes the country’s next PM?
JC-Well amidst all this, I just didn’t give that a thought.India looks to be progressing though, doesn’t it?
We are talking of one man instead of a party? We are becoming the US.
SS- But if we become the US, will we give visa to Modi? And hey, did you know IIT-B has a festival dedicated to him.It is called MoodI.
JC- My great-grandfather seems so relevant today. He had once said, that when a boy who has always topped in school appears for IITJEE (or by whatever name they call it today), either succeeds, or fails miserably.
